ICCA Officers

  • Founding President of the ICCA and has been serving in Corrections since 2016. Before joining the Island Count Jail, Tyler served in the United States Air Force as a Security Forces member. He was also an Oak Harbor Police explorer from 2007 to 2010. Tyler is a Sergeant in the jail, a Firearms Instructor, FTO and Sergeant of the Electronic Home Monitoring Team.

  • Founding Secretary of the ICCA and has been serving in Correction since 2016. Before joining the Island County Jail, Melissa served in the United States Navy as an Electronic Warfare Operator. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Bowling Green State University. Melissa serves as the jails Field Training Manager

  • Just elected as the newest Vice-President of the ICCA and has been serving in Corrections since 2018. Lily began her career working corrections in California. While in California she held multiple instructor positions and was an instructor with her local academy. Currently she is a newly appointed Defensive Tactics and Firearms instructor.

  • Founding Treasurer of the ICCA and has been serving in Corrections since 2015. Before his career in Corrections Dan served as a reserve deputy for the Island County Sheriff’s Office for 24 years, retiring there as the reserve lieutenant. During that time, he was serving in the United States Navy as an Avionics Technician. Dan is a FTO, the jails Peer Support member and a member of the Sheriff’s Office Marine Safety Unit.
